DO YOU FEEL LIKE A HAMSTER ON A WHEEL? YEAH, ME NEITHER
It's Winter in Illinois, so that means it is cold and dreary and dark early and a huge bummer...and that is about the nicest thing I can say about Illinois in the Winter! Everyday we get up and get dressed and go to work and do our thing and blah, blah, blah...I'm over it! So in addition to my running (or spin biking) I started a 12 week workout routine. If anyone is looking for something new to shake things up checkout Heather Robertson's 12 week workout plan (she has a 1.0 and a 2.0 www.heatherrobertson.com). I have managed to get my butt out of bed in the morning and it has quickly become one of my favorite workout routines! Each workout takes 30 - 40 minutes and is complete with warmup and cool down. She talks to you in the beginning to fill you in on what is coming (what equipment you need - minimal for all) and then she never says another word. Did you hear me, SHE NEVER SAYS ANOTHER WORD!!! If I'm working out and you are talking to me while I do it, I already hate you! Can I get an AMEN? Hang in there everyone, it'll get better because we can get better!
